I have read-up on both programs, "KaZaA" and "Morpheus". Some users complain about both programs with ads and spyware, but that doesn't bother me. Which software program is "best" compatible with Microsoft's Windows XP (Home Edition)? I had KaZaA on my Windows95 PC and it worked fine; i just don't want any program crashing my new system with Windows XP. Can anyone please give some advice and/or feedback? Thanks!

I have been using KaZaA on my Windows XP computer for several weeks and I have experienced no problems whatsoever. I recommend KaZaA. (I'm running Win XP Pro, but I assume KaZaA will run fine on XP Home as well.)

I use morpheus with winxp and no problems whatsoever. Bearshare sucks - don't even bother trying it!

Hi, I'm using Morpheus on Me but when I tried it on another computer with XP-strange things started happening... I woul refrain from using it on XO until the new version is out. That will be very soon! they say it will be fully compatible with XP plus have acces to Gnutella - lovely, can't wait:)

to remove the bitrate limitation of Morpheus, change the LimitBitRate DWORD entry in the registry from 1 to 0 under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Morpheus/

although to be truthful...i can't tell much of a difference above 128 anyway

and bearshare definitely does suck, a much better gnutella client is LimeWire (and supposedly their latest version doesn't have the trojan either)
