In WINXP Pro i have shared a folder for which i have given Everyone Full control, Since we are running Win2000 server we have list of domain user in the network. I want to give permission for the folder in XP machine such that particular Domain user should have access on that shared folde. But when see the security tab in add name tab i find only users of local machine & Domain user are not listed. So in my network the shared folder will have access to all tha machine. So i need your kind advice how give security acced to particular domain user to have access on XP machine.

I'm not sure you can do that in a domain. A domain is geared toward domain level services. What you're trying to do is create a "workgroup" type share.
It's possible that one of the domain admin's could setup the access on the share on your PC but you as a user don't have the rights to add domain users/groups to a share on a local hard drive.

Also if you are setting the permissions under the security tab they are NTFS permissions not Share permissions (i.e. local user permissions not network permissions). You set share permissions from the permissions button under the sharing tab
