Comment:

(This question was asked, but nobody answered!)Is there an easy way to access the Windows record control window besides going thru Control Panel? I want to write a keyboard key command macro to make changes to the record input/volume settings. I need a keyboard shortcut to go straight to the record control window. --Thanks.

Boy, did I ever do alot of work to find what you
want.

Do a SEARCH, files and folders, for

sndvol32.exe

Next, right click the file,
then "Create Shortcut"
Windows will put it on your Desktop.

Right click the Shortcut,
then Properties,
then click once the word NONE that is next to Shortcut key,
Now hit a letter key on your keyboard. The letter R is a good one.
Now you see your Shortcut Keys. Click OK.

Now use your Shortcut Keys.
Now you say DAMN! I have Volume Control.

In V.C., click Options in the Menu Bar,
Then click Properties,
then check mark "Recording"
click OK.

Now you have Shortcut Keys for "Recording Control"
