I have three computers at home, one Win98, one Win2000 Pro and a recently bought laptop running WinXP Pro. They are all connected via a router to the internet. All computers can connect to the internet. They all use the same workgroup (WORKGROUP). The problem is that the WinXP machine can't find the other two computers (they find eachother without a problem). I need the laptop to be able to access the other computers (swapping documents for work etc). I've also tried to use the Home Network Setup Wizard on the XP with a new workgroup name, then used the same wizard on the Win98 (since the wizard couldn't run on Win2000!?). I used the exact same settings (except for the computer name ofcourse), but no luck. Are there anything else that you should be aware of when sharing on an XP machine? Presently I have to burn my data on an CD-RW to get it to the laptop and the same procedure to get it back to the stationary whick takes to much time. BTW I've also checked the IP addresses and the router gives them diffrent ones. Please advise all you network gurus out there ;)
