Comment:
I have two modems. Can I establish a multi-link connection to twO different ISp's,each having its own telephone number and user/password ? If yes, then how?
Or,If i establish both connections one after the other, will my browser detect them both and will the download speed increase automatically?

I have seen this question asked before and it should work. I will tell you what I have seen how others have replied. Call up the two ISPs and ask them if this is possible using the other ISP. If not, ask them if it's possible using two lines from the same ISP (if they allow that). In the end you are probably better off getting broadband like DSL - Verizon has a DSL package for a low price ($29.95).

Thanks a lot for replying Kevin.
I am going to go in for broadband, once it becomes affodable here in India. Cause I am in India,I cannot go in for a Verizon DSL :)
FYI, One of my modems is the old conventional modems while the other is built into a wireless phone (not mobile though). Here's the link to the provider's website: http://www.tataindicom.com/data/
