Hi all,

I get this weird thing in windows Xp where the mouse automatically moves to a certain place in the screen. It reminds me of an option that used to exist that moved your mouse to the active button in the screen so you did not have to do it.

The only problem is that it moves the mouse wherever it wants and I can't stop it. It will do this every couple of minutes and bring my mouse to a random spot in the screen (usually a button or something almost usefull) but as i'm used to moving the mouse pointer myself I end up clicking somewhere in the screen that i'm not expecting (like format hard drive haha)

Thanks for readin'

Thanx for readin'

Have a look in Control Panel>Mouse,
under the Pointer Options tab, see if there is a Snap To option checked.

Could it be a spyware controlling your system??? Maybe you should scan your system for any spywares...

Sounds like a virus or prank file to me - run an anti-virus check asap.

If u don't have an AV prog, then download 'AntiVir' - it's free and works very well (better than AVG !!)
