Comment:

I have just received my new system that I had ordered online. (PC3200, 512MB RAM, 6600GT, 80GB). I have installed Windows XP Professional on a newly-created and formatted partition. However, when I try to install the Nforce 3 250 Series drivers from the Utilities CD (USB, LAN, Chipset), the installation application hangs on the first screen. I tried booting in safe mode to no avail. Other applications through CD's seem to work fine. What could be the issue here? Thanks

Hello,

Have you tried downloading and installing the the latest drivers for the Nforce 3, instead of installing them off CD?

That might fix this issue.
