Hi, I would like to have a dual boot Win2K and WinXP. My laptop is having WinXP home edition, I tried by putting the Win2k installation CD, but it prevents in installing the OS. Could anybody suggest, how can I install Win2K on my machine, which already have a WinXP (dual boot)..

Create partition for windows 2k first and than install windows 2k.

yeah u dont have to reinstall do with PQ Magic,resise XP partition to ?Gb how much u need,then make Partition for WIN2000,format it NTFS,UNHIDE partiton otherwise it will not work,then boot from CD and instalate,yes also make WIN2000 partition PRIMARY-NOT EXTENDED BUT PRIMARY and dont forget to unhide it.dot do it with FDISK,IT wont work GOOD LUCK
