WinXP browsing problem! Please Help!

my window XP can't use the "open in new window" function. Nothing is displayed in the new IE when i click on some links which needs to pop up a new window. Sometimes I can solve it by "copy shortcut" and then paste it back as the address .But when there are javascripts links I can't carry out this method. This is very troublesome. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

do you have any pop up stopper running which stops the new windows from openeing??? if u do ur suppose to hold shift to allow a new window to open

did u install the java interpreter - it doesn't come in IE6 you have to put on seperately.
