I have a laptop and a desktop both running windows XP. They both have NetBEUI installed and both are plugged into the same hub. The desktop will see all the workgroups, but the laptop will only see some of the workgroups. I have given it time to populate, but still not seeing alot of the workgroups. It seems to only be a problem with NetBEUI on WinXP. Any thoughts?

There is apparently an issue with netbeui as provided (albeit in a round about way) with XP; it doesn't always seem to interface with the versions in '9x/ME etc. although to date I've had no problems (and thus tempts fate)...
Have a browse thru:

it's discussed there; along with other XP issues...
Also:
http://www.helmig.com
covers all flavours of M$ networking; including the vagueries of XP...; might be worth a visit too.
