Is possible to load netbeui protocol in WinXP?. I have my lan with tcpip and netbios, but is connected to internet (adsl), i want to disable netbios but then i cannot see the shared folders and printers in my lan. Help me please!!!

you can install netbuei with no problems. you will have to have the WinXP CD in when you do so. netbeui is not included in teh list of protocols in WinXP you have to select "have disk" and point it to the location on the CD.

Yes you can install NetBeui without any problems. The install works great.

Getting the protocol itself to work after the install is a different story. Good luck, I hope it works out better for you then it did for me.

Oh my god!!! the installation is very easy, but.....it doesnīt work, with netbeui and tcpip without netbios in xp i cannīt see the shared resources of my lan. The win2000 server has netbeui, my xp has netbeui, but it doesnīt work.

Any idea?
