Hi i have two machines running XP prof and one running windows 2000 all connected through an adsl router to the internet. I want to be able to network them all together and share files etc and the XP computers seem to be able to do this fine but the windows 2000 pc cant access the workgroup network and cant see any other pcs. the winxp machines can see each other and access each other and also see the 2000 machine but they cannot access it (message saying they dont have permission). it used to be that on a 2000 peer to peer you would be prompted for a user name and pass for the sdestination pc but this doesnt seem to happen on the xp nets. can anyone give me advice on how to get all the pcs working together as a network
