Hey everyone,
Suddenly WINWORD.exe seems to always be running in my task manager even though microsoft word is not open. When I do open it, winword.exe is still in the task manager. When I close it, it stays. What is going on??? Oh, and whenever I open Microsoft Word, the Document title changes numerically as if I had already opened a bunch of new word templates. So like if I were to open word now, it would say Document 10 in the title bar. Then I would close out of word as per usual. Yet, when I open up word again it says Document 11 in the title (when normally it would resume the default number of 1). Help me out!

1st step , run a virus check from all of these .

Users of Windows Me and Windows XP should temporarily turn off System Restore. Windows Me/XP uses this feature, which is enabled by default, to restore the files on your computer in case they become damaged. If a virus, worm, or Trojan infects a computer, System Restore may back up the virus, worm, or Trojan on the computer.Windows prevents outside programs, including antivirus programs, from modifying System Restore. Therefore, antivirus programs or tools cannot remove threats in the System Restore folder. As a result, System Restore has the potential of restoring an infected file onto your computer, even after you have cleaned the infected files from all the other locations.
Also, a virus scan may detect a threat in the System Restore folder even though you have removed the threat.
For instructions on how to turn off System Restore, read your Windows documentation, or one of the following articles:

I don't see how I could have a virus if I have Internet Security and Norton Antivirus all up to date and on Auto Protect with a firewall and tons of other crap. Is this a known virus? Or does it just seem like it might be one? Either way I guess I'll do a system scan.

Found the problem, I opened word and there seemed to be a document open in the background that did not show up anywhere...really weird.
O well, you can delete this post since it has no reason to be up here.
