hi, just a quick question...I have a standard WinTV-PCI board card. Win2k was perfectly fine in picking up all the TV channels avaiable (in clear quality), but now in XP i only have a few channels, in poor quality. I've downloaded the winXp drivers and the TV viewer, so....what's the deal with that??

if anybody has the same probelm and has a solution please reply, thank you!
(i live in the UK if that makes a difference)

Not sure if this is of any help, but the following is from the WIN TV Win XP download page:

"Note on using the de-interlacer: The de-interlacer will be activated when you run WinTV full screen. If you would like the de-interlacer to be activated while watching TV in a window, click the Pref button on the WinTV application, then click on the Deinterlace tab and, in the Window setting, click on Deinterlace".

pretty easy to solve your issue! Just activate the "PCI Delay ...." in your BIOS!
Do this, and your chans will be in perfect W2k quality :)
