I've been all over the net and I can't find anyone with this problem. Surely I'm not the first. I have a friends computer, xp home, that he downloaded kaza, download accelerator, lots of junk. Computer was running extreamly slow. I used ad-aware to clean up the spyware. Found cydoor and gator. I got a restoring previous winsock notice flashed on the screen as I removed the spyware. Now the computer won't browse the net anymore, it will connect to isp as normal,56k modem, good connection speed but it doesn't go anywhere. I Get a corrupt winsock error on ocasion depending on what I am trying out. I've had this problem a lot in win98, easy fix with removing and replacing the winsock but how do you do it in xp?? Has this happened to anyone here? I've been thru all the post and no one has posted on this, as far as I could find anyway. I would appreciate the help.... Thanks, Steve
