Is it possible to make a windows xp pro computer act as a WINS or Active Directory Server? I am having a lot of trouble using NetBIOS between my two xp pro machines. Any help would be appreciated.

dont know of any such soft but there is soft to make xp mai server proxy server ftp server etc.... so try google but instead of that why not just use static ips in a host fiel...
