I'm having a problem with my winrar. Everytime I try to open an iso file with winrar the files are seen and extracted in the old 8.3 file naming scheme. If I open the iso with daemon tools, I can see the files in their full length. Is there anyway I can get Winrar to see the full file name? This is a question about Winrar, I do not need suggestions about other programs. Thanks

I don't understand your question. As a matter of fact, WinRAR 3.0 is able to browse and unpack contents of ISO files. WinRAR also supports Joliet extension of ISO9660 and displays long file names inside of Joliet CD images.

Alright finally solved the problem. The ISO file was the problem. I don't know why Winrar didn't open it correctly but I extracted the files with daemon tools and remade the iso file with a different program. My friend gave me this iso and somehow his program and Winrar are not compatible. The new iso created in the my program opens with the long file names in Winrar now. Thanks for the help anyways.
