my windows xp x64 edition won't activate, i click yes to activate and it logs off. so then i tried hacking it and the file got screwed up, is there anywhere i can get a new winlogon.exe file, so then i can try to activate it, plus it would be nice if you could tell me why it keeps logging off when i click yes.

no not virus. this all started when i accidentally deleted my boot file, and then i switcthed the harddrive to another pc. which i then fixed the boot file, but windows noticed the hardware change and deactivated itself.

Well, if you have a WinXP CD, it's pretty easy to get a fresh copy of winlogon.exe. You can do it either from the Recovery Console or from a repair install. Actually, the latter might also fix the activation issue. If it doesn't, call up Microsoft and complain.
...it would be nice if you could tell me why it keeps logging off when i click yes. Not enough information to give you a reason, but if winlogon.exe crashes, Windows'll boot you out.

You can try to reset WPA and try to reactivate. More then likely, you will need to reactivate over the telephone due to hardware changes.
