Comment:

I have a P3 1.13 ghz 512 MB RAM with Geforce 2 video card. I was running 3DS MAX 4 when I noticed a major lag. Usu it takes about 45 seconds to load 3DS max, but the process to load max took over 15 minutes and the HD was still lighting up.

I checked the Task Manager and I saw that a process called winlogon.exe was utilizing anywhere from 0-99% of my CPU.

I tried to uninstall and re-install 3DS max but the problem is still there.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I checked for viruses but found none. I have the NIS 2003 with updates and I regularly defrag my HD.

Thanks

LW
