Two solutions: (1) Go to the site http://microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/wntipcfg-o.asp and download the file wntipcfg.exe. This works fine in XP and gives same info as winipcfg. Change name to winipcfg.exe if you want. ---------OR-------- (2) In XP type in cmd in RUN (or use the Command Prompt under accessories) and then type in ipconfig or ipconfig/all in the screen that comes up. This gives most of the same info as winipcfg.
Command prompt seems to be the XP version of MS-DOS.
