WinFax 10 problems

When I reinstalled my WinFax 10 I get annoying problem messages: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as default mail client." My default mail client is Outlook Express. Secondly: Every time I reboot the WinFax program reinstalls itself. It never used to do that before and there is no place in the installation process that I can remedy this one.
Any ideas out there? I can't find any remedy on the Symantec website.
