Hi guys,
since 1 week my comp is acting weird, i cant start norton antivirs not several other progs, so i downloaded another antivirus, and i found that there was a WIN.exe virus on my harddisk. But the prob is , i cant remove it and neither can the anti-virus software.
When i try to delete it thru the software it says:Delete action is disabled. Enable 'delete' action in 'ini-file' first
And i dunno how to removie it manually.
It would be cool if u guys could help me out.

I can only suggest going to www.symantec.com, look up that virus and read about removal. Otherwise, saving what personal files you can, then reformat and re-install is all you can do. Best of luck to you Ati.

If your harddrive is still fat32 then just boot up with a Win98 bootdisk and delete the virus from dos.

You can download a Win98 bootdisk from http://www.bootdisk.com
