windvd resolution problem

OS: winxp pro
CPU/Ram: intel piii 1 ghz/384 mb r

just recently, windvd has been acting up, automatically changing the resolution and going fullscreen on program startup, and i can't seem to find any settings to disable these. is there some ini file or registry key i can tweak to disable them?

If you check out Setup/Video then at the bottom is a option called "Startup in Full Screen mode". Is it ticked?

yeah, i just saw that. but the resolution still changes, which i can't seem to fix.

You might take a look at your screen resolution - most DVDs are in a resolution of something like 720x480 - you must have your screen resolution set to something higher (800x600 is the minimum you should be using) in order to avoid going to fullscreen...
