What are the specs of your PC ? CPU, RAM, DVD-ROM Drive, etc. ? I mean, does your PC meet the minimum requirements of DVD software players ?

What is the version of WinDVD software player ?

Did you visit the software maker's website for an answer to your problem ? Did you contact the maker by e-mail or some other means for their support ?

Did you enable DMA mode of your DVD-ROM drive ?

Hope the above give you some hints to solve your problem.

Regards
