Comment: Windows won't boot up,we just get a message that says windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt...windows/system32/config/system.... It goes on to say that you can attempt a repair by starting windows setup using the original setup CD-Rom..Select "R" at the first screen to start repair. This doesn't work.... So i am unable to sort anything out as windows wont load, is there anything i can do in bio If you can also link your post to a email for me that would be great to Kingdom207@aol.com

Reply: (edit)Will ur computer even boot in safe mode? Bios wise no, if you could find the missing file or a replacement over the internet you can install it through the command prompt. However if its a system configuration file, which the string suggests it is, this may be one problem you cant fix.
