CPU/Ram: pentium 4 2.43gig

just a question. i want to reformat my hard drive how would i partion it to make a 4 gig and a 36 gig. and can i plug and play my cable modem or would i have to call tech support for that.

i guess u want to reinstall windows xp pro?

if so u can reformat and partition everything within the xp installation-routine. if u want to keep any files you'll have to partition from your running xp (do this with partition magic pro).

tip: don't use a 36 gb partition!!! rather use a few smaller. this will make everything much more serviceable.
