I bought a Dell computer and it came with Xp full version. I have alot of registered programs that charge me money to register. Whenever I have bought a new comuter I use Drive Copy to copy the HD. Is there any way to use XP full version to upgrade my old drive and keep my Win98 apps or do I have to buy the upgrade?

Never used it myself but have you looked into the File and Settings Transfer Wizard?
