CPU/Ram: AMD Athlon XP 3200+/1024M

After the 180 day trial of Windows x64 will you need to format and reinstall Windows or will it be like a standard installation and just delete the installation? Also does Microsoft plan on releasing the OS soon? I'm asking because I am upgrading to a 64-bit system and x64 caught my eye.

I think you might find your answer at the MS web site...

But yes it is released, if you follow the instructions on the web site it will show you how to get the free changeover...
