Specs: Windows XP
Here is the deal. So i had this new computer for about 4 months now. It was a custom built computer a friend made me and he installed XP on it.

After I installed my printer it started to have the Ginuine windows message popping up and i have genuine windows xp pro. I do not have a CD drive nor do i have a floppy drive, and now the computer is going to load XP then it restarts, i tried to load safe mode and it does the same thing. now i dont even get access to safe mode when it hit f8.

Anyone know?

Curious ... What kind of custom-built PC is this that have no floppy & CDROM drive? Netbook?

If you had installed an optical drive instead of a printer, you would be able to do a repair install from the "genuine windows xp pro" CD now.

You are kinda up the creek without a CD drive. I guess you could borrow one from a friend to use to do the repair install.
