I installed Warcraft 3 today, jstu got it. And it freezes after 30-60 seconds of used. Anyone else recieve ith serror. I recently upgraded from a ATI Radeon 64MB DDR to a GeForce 4 Ti 4600 128MB DDR! Please someone help me

Warcraft 3 is a very NEW software... so don't bother trying the compatibility thing.. weird things can happen when switching different video card... did u make sure you've completely remove your old ati drivers? any remains dll files can cause unstable especially in 3D games...

If you have a VIA chipset, make sure you get the latest 4 in 1 drivers, as these resolve problems with many games freezing after 30 seconds (the beloved unreal 2003 is among the many that's affected). If you haven't got a VIA chipset, check the temperature of your cpu and VGA card.

I have a VIA chipset, temps are fine, where can I find those updated drivers, I think thats whats causing it. I jsut bought the new James Bond Nigtfire game, and the same tihng hapens. After 30 seconds it just closes the game. So please let me know where I can get those drivers, Thanx!

Excellent, cheers mate, the chipset update worked perfectly. To anybody else searching the forums for a solution to the problem, make sure you try this if you have a VIA chipset. There have been a lot of ridiculous suggestions made (compatibilty mode for a brand new game? huh?), but this one definately works.
