Hi
I am trying to upgrade Windows 98 to XP Professional. Everything goes well until just after the automatic reboot and just when it tries to install the files i get an error message that says:
"Win32 Last Error is 14001 - one of the components that windows needs to continue Setup could not be installed"
Any ideas? It's driving me mad because I'm not clever enough to do a full install rather than an upgrade. i.e I don't know how to uninstall 98 and then get XP to install itself!
Many Thanks if you can help.
Cheers
Don
