Okay here the problem ...
I just did a new install of windows XP (the drive was formatted in NTFS and it was a full format not the quick one).

I tried to download the updates on the computer after installing programns for my keyboard.

The updates download without problems but it doesnt install ... let's say it was on "Initializing installation" for roughly an hour or so and nothing happened ... i tried to do an upgrade installation to see if any files were corrupt and after doing that i tried to download the updates and they downloaded no problems and then i went to bed to allow for installation of the updates ... i woke up 8 hrs later to find out that it was still "Initializing updates" so i am not sure what else i could possible do to remedy this issue.

Any form of advice will be very much appreciated.
