hello, i've been trying to solve this problem for hours, but seems i can't get anywhere. When installing windows xp, it starts installing and when it restarts, and continues the installation it freezes. That is right after it asks you if you want to press F6. i've flashed my bios but that doesn't seem to work, my motherboard is a k7vma and it uses via 4 in 1 drivers. If anyone can help me that would be awsome.thank you

I had a similar problem. It turned out to be IRQ sharing. After turning that off in the BIOS, it installed fine. Hope this helps

Do have a USB Key board if so change the Keyboard to a ps/2 setting. After XP is installed you can go back to a USB setting
