Windows XP Sp3 boots on

Specs: Windows XP
Have this prob. Got my Windows slipstreamed so that it had sp3 (since I bought my XP before even sp1 was out) and I've tried the disk on 5 machines now and all can boot it except mine.

Just bought a new PC and need to install XP on it (because Vista sucks) and I have to use my old slipstreamed XP with servicepack 2 since that disc works without problems.

Both XP versions are burnt on the same kind of CD so there should'nt be any problems with my new CD/DVD players compability with those cds. Only sp3 that doesnt boot. And only on my computer,

Anyone know why this could be?

There are some new computers being purchased that do not have the correct drivers installed for the dvd/cd players. I think mostly the toshiba brand drives but others could be installed as well. It just does not read from all media even the same brand. You must uninstall and find a different driver for the optics drive.
