Anyone had any issues with this SP? I applied the SP and now my pc wont boot (not even in Safe Mode) I tried a repair but that wounldnt work either.

The last thing I can try before I format is to boot up into Recovery Console and use the batch spuninst.bat command to uninstall the SP.

I've been running it for a few days now without any problems.

I was once known as PC Freak. I always hated that name.

I ran the beta version for over a month and just got the final version installed yesterday! Works GREAT!
The only problem I had was with my sygate firewall (before the SP2 was d/l'd yesterday), it wouldn't allow up-dates, but I finally got that sorted out using the sygate forum and then my up-date got automatically loaded. I use the Express (most recommended) and all my criticals get up-dated as they come along....it's effortless.
SP2 is much better than SP1

If you need a simple solution, try mine. I try to give advise on things that have happened to my PC. Changes in registry can be FATAL!

Oh, I forgot mention, I also use Winpatrol and had deleted the MSN Messenger before getting my Beta version of SP2. So when I d/l'd the beta version, naturally MSN Messenger also got up-dated....BUT....thanks to Winpatrol, it asked me if I wanted to re-install MSN and I said no....it worked great. Also when the d/l for the SP2 was done yesterday...same thing...I was asked if I wanted MSN and I said no. WinPatrol is free and works great...you may want to look into that free utility. Saves you alot of time.

did Adobe list a specific resolution or fix for when sP2 causes problems to creating PDF's? If so, can you provide the link?

I had the same problem. After 3 tries, I gave up. Actually, after the first fiasco, I used Acronis disk image to save my current install. Then it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get back to where you started. If I try booting in "safe" mode, the computer seems to hang at after snapman.sys and "Mup.sys".

I will just wait until they get the bugs out. This is typical of Microsoft, isn't it?
