Best suggestions for buying windows xp sp1 oem cd please. Most people now are selling sp2 but would rather just get the sp1 and download the updates I want for I know that sp2 causes some problems with somethings that sp1 doesnt but can still download critical updates for sp1 just the same. Any other suggestions other that newegg. I tried diger direct but it appears what they sell comes with some bundled software and I dont want that either. Just windows xp pro sp1 oem. Thanks.

Try Viosoftware.com, they were selling XP-SP1 oem but the cost difference between SP-2 was only about $4.I didn't see it last time I looked but you might contact them. Currently SP-2 oem is $83.32 with free shipping. I've bought from them several times and always had good experience.
