I've installed Windows XP in my computer, and everything seems to work just fine except that I cannot hear any sound. There are not hardware conflicts and 'device manager' tells me that all the installed devices work properly. My computer has a PWA- Camaro-1.5c motherboard manufactured by IBM with a PIII/550Mhz processor and a ESS Allegro ES-1989s built in sound chip.Is there any way to make this work or I have to desable the sound chip and install a sound card? Thanx.

Did you see your sound installed in your device manager? Try going to Microsoft.com and do a windows update. This should detect that you need drivers for your sound and it will download and install them for you. If that doesn't work, search for your sound drivers on the internet and download/install them.
