hello...
i recently installed windows xp pro. i share a dsl connection with my friend in the apartment next to me. when i was running win2k, dsl worked fine. now with win xp pro, my dsl connection is very slow most of the time. it will not maintain downloads and sometimes the connection wont transfer any data at all. my friend, however, has no problems running 98. ive tried everything i can think of (installing updated drivers for my linksys network card, fiddling with every possible network setting) to no avail. i would prefer to not have to go back to using win2k. can anyone offer me any suggestions?
