Hi all, would appreciate any help with this issue. Trying to do a fresh install of Windows XP on a new HD. After the setup reboots the computer and when it tries to return to setup I get this error "Not enough virtual memory or paging file quota is available to complete the specified operation." No OS currently installed on the drive and I am really at my wits end. Thanks!

I had a similar problem with a new computer that I was setting up. To get the OS to install I had to underclock the processor in the bios prior to OS installation. Then after the OS (Windows XP in my case) was installed I changed the processor settings to the correct ones. Don't know if this will work for you, but I sure know how you feel. For me it was a shot in the dark for this to work. This was done on a Soyo Dragaon Plus motherboard with and AMD 1.4 and 512 RAM.
