I'm using XP Home and when I try to run Windows XP setup it says "An internal Setup error has occurred. Could not find a place for a setup file. Setup cannot continue. Press ENTER to exit." Windows XP home is installed on the computer, but I need to repair with yet i always get this error.

To do a repair try booting from the XP CD.

try a different cd-rom or a new cd-rom
set your bios to defaults
make sure the cd doesn't have many scratches, if so get a different cd
and then boot from cd and see what happens
