Comment:

I was having trouble with my current XP so i tried to reinstall(upgrade option) from the same CD. Midway through the setup a error occurred and the computer has restarted, when reboots it goes straight to windows setup again and has same error and restarts, error restart and so on.

I've tried booting in safe mode and says windows setup can't run in safe mode.

Does anyone know a way i can cancel the windows set-up and actually get into the original or any other suggestions

In the error, does it list, near the bottom, a driver it is having problems with? If so, boot the system in DOS and rename the file's extension (I had a problem with ctoss2k.sys, so I renamed it to ctoss2k.old and the error screen didn't come up again).
