Getting 0x8024600A from Windows Update. Tried to find the Service Pack 3 to download directly, anyone have any suggestions?

I downloaded it from Microsoft. This is the file name.

360 odd Mb download...

I was going to do that too then I saw in bold "DO NOT CLICK DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE UPDATING JUST ONE COMPUTER: A smaller, more appropriate download is now available on Windows Update."
But I guess that thing will work too!

The smaller, more appropriate download is a few hundred Kb job that connects you with Microsoft for the update.
I like to keep copies of SP's handy for installs and reinstalls. You would too if you'd ever sat through a SP4 download for W2K on a P133 with 96Mb memory.

The full update is fine.
That warning is just to save you time by using Windows Updates. The latter is small because it only updates what is necessary for your own particular machine.
