Ok Windows updates wants me to download Windows XP Service Pack 3.Is this a good thing?
It depends on who you ask. I've installed it on 4 systems so far & only had a minor glitch with the wireless on one of them, but it was an easy fix. I'm going for #5 tonite.

Some people like to install all the latest updates. I'm not one of those. When it comes to computer code, I'm of the 'if it ain't broke' persuasion. I didn't install SP1 or SP2 until some programs that I run required Sp2.
