windows xp replacement cd??

I bought my Matrix PC at Best Buy, and it came presintalled with windows XP. I want to wipe my c drive and install xp fresh, but it did not come with an XP install CD. Would I be able to obtain this from Microsoft? The only cd's that came with it are restore cds. Any help is appreciated.
When you use the restore CD you will go back to a fresh install off XP, that's what you should do.

I agree with Harold.I have a Compaq that came only with a restore disk,and no XP CD. I have had to use the restore disks once and they got me back,as Harold says to the laptop as it came out of the box.You will of corse have to add back any applications or hardware drivers that you added after you got your PC.The nice thing about the restore disk is that will have all the XP drivers that came with your pc and you won't have to run around and try to download the correct drivers after an install from an XP CD.

The restore cd's restore the factory image to your system.You should not need an XP CD
