Is MS going to release Windows XP Reloaded? I have heard many diff rumors about this OS. Personally I think if it would have been released last year it would have been perfect, but now that Longhorn is a year away It looks like those Windows XP Reloaded rumors about it being released are slwoing dying out. Unless Windows XP is half longhorn and half XP I wouldn't see a need to upgrade for a year just to turn around and upgrade again to Longhorn.

You have been watching too much of the Matrix Cobra mate lol.
Longhorn is a year away because they cant get sp2 right yet never mind Longhorn.
It needs re-loading all right but I ask Microsoft to use real bullets this time and not blanks.

Longhorn's release is slated for mid 2006 at best....don't be holding your breath.

It's still plagued by massive database accesing problems.

Be sure to shell out for a new system too as word at M$ is minimum processor requirements will be 4 Gig processor and 1 Gig video and 2 Gig of Ram as a minimum setup for the OS.

Thoughts of loading Longhorn onto current systems is a pipe dream.

I don't know if many people will take WindowsReloaded if it comes out with open arms. Windows Me was like Windows 98 reloaded and look how that turned out. Windows Reloaded from what I read if it comes out will be more look like Windows XP Plus then anything else. It would be worth the upgrade if Windows Reloaded had WinFS on it though.
