Comment: Hey, this is my problem...I have a new Windows XP Pro CD and I am doing a clean install. I start with the 6 boot disks and everything is fine but whenever I am doing the installation at the blue screen (where it copies the files) the system ALWAYS miss copies a file somehow. I don't understand it, it should work! Eventually i made a copy of the CD and I switch CDs whenever a file is missed, this works to a point, but doesn't always work. Somehow even with 2 copies of this CD at the end a file will always be missed. So when i go to the next screen when it reboots a get errors about the list being CORRUPT because I am missing files...then after about 3 times i get the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH and the computer just shuts down. HOW can i make sure the files copy everytime? WHY DOES XP DO THIS? i can't use Me anymore, it way too faulty.... thanks

Reply: (edit)If you have the CD, then why are you using the 6 boot-disks? Try booting from the CD, but before you do, make sure your CD drive is the first boot-device (check your BIOS settings if it is)
