Hi,
I have recently purchased a quad core PC with 2 SLI configured graphics cards in it, I was wondering... what would be the best operating system to install on it? :)

Install Windows XP Professional, because you will experience a lot more amazing speed since Windows Vista takes a lot more CPU Usage. Install Windows Vista Ultimate on a different hard drive, just for the future.

If you intend to play games on it, then you'll probably want to go with Vista; Microsoft will not release DX10 for XP.
Depends on the Game. XP performs better for Games than Vista. If the game requires DirectX 10, then you will need Vista. For now, stick with XP.

I have XP and Vista and from my experience stay with XP for now. Or at least until there is more compatiable software (games, etc..)for Vista. Don't get me wrong I like Vista and the Directx 10 is way cool, but the lack of support for most software in Vista is a little disappointing to me and my gamer ways.

Vista Premium? Is Aero Glass really worth an extra $100?
Look, if you already have a copy of XP you can use and two usable partitions, sure. Go for it. XP would have to be first, though.
