Okay, so i just upgraded my WinXP home sp2 to winXP Pro sp2, and i have a few problems now.

1-Catalyst Control Center.
The ATI graphics card firmware has now gone crazy. I need to access it for something, and its telling me "You do not have permission to change CATALYST Control Center settings. Please contact your administrator for further help."
Well, my user account on windows is admin, and i still cant get into it. I went to safe mode to see if i could change access priviliges for the program, but theres no option to. I re-installed, and still the same error appears. Hmm

2-Microsoft Windows has recovered from a serious error. Apparently. Ever since the upgrade, this error appears, and when i click "dont send", it pops back up again. Hmm.

3-AVG is gone crazy. I get an error when i boot saying AVG is corrupt. I guess i gotta just re-install it, right??

Can people please help me with these problems, XP is driving me nuts!!!
The computer im using is a 1Ghz PIII, 256mb ram.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, you now need someone with a higher skill level than yourself, to help you.
There is a fix, but working out which one will be a process of trying all the different one's Google finds.

Oh, c'mon - - I for one am content to let you 'highly skilled' types proceed on your own. It's better that way (and Darwinistic too)

I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
