I am utilising windows firewall, on a Lenovo thinkpad.
Everytime I turn on my system, I have to set my firewall on...
How can I prevent it from turning itself off automatically?
Restarting is fine.

I do not have any problems with my desktop using the same OS.

I'm using daily updated trend micro office scan, and MS anti-spyware, if this is any useful..

Thanks alot.

I am not that familiar wth Trend Micro's Office, but all the othe Trend Micro products include a firewall. Many software firewalls are detected by XP, and causes it to turn off the XP Firewall. When you open XP, is there a warning that there is no firewall installed in the start menu.
