trying to install service pack 3 from microsoft website and i am receiving error message. not enough space for c:\windows\$ntservicepackuninstall$. minimun 4 megabyte and i have plenty of space..

tried that already.... nothing there....any other suggestions..cleaned up about 3 gigs worth of stuff and still nothing. tried registry fix and still nothing...

You need much more than 4MB of space.
My Uninstall files to go from SP2 to SP3 are 476MB and that doesn't count whatever space SP3 takes.
Those numbers are dependent on what updates were installed to start.
